About Janna

I have a heart to help people who are hurting and looking for relief, change, and hope. Maybe you’re looking at life right now and it looks bleak, but you don’t know what’s wrong and much less how to fix it, or maybe you know exactly what your problem is, but you don’t know what to do about it or you just need an unbiased ear to sit with you, listen to you, and walk through the struggle with you as we work to find a solution. Regardless of your situation, I would love to help.
I have been trained in a wide variety of therapies including EMDR, TBRI- which are both trauma therapies- CBT, Brief Solution focused, and more. I work with children, couples, families, and adults dealing with trauma and a variety of other issues.
I can’t promise that this journey will be easy, but I can promise you that I will walk through it with you. Life is full of ups and downs, and some seasons bring more downs than others. If you are in a low season, I would be honored to get into the trenches of life with you and assist you in finding ways to make it through the tough times.

About Emily

Let’s be honest, life can be tough. There are times when we find ourselves feeling lost, overwhelmed, and unheard. We experience a range of emotions and face situations that can be difficult to manage alone. Counseling is a helpful tool to gain clarity and direction when things seem too foggy to navigate on our own. As a counselor, it is my goal to provide my clients with a solid counseling relationship built on trust, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. Through this process, I strive be a partner in helping clients to discover and build upon the strengths and potential they already have within themselves.
I believe that each client and their journey are unique. As such, I employ a variety of interventions and techniques tailored to the needs of each client. As a partner in the therapeutic process, I encourage clients to utilize self-reflection to derive meaning from their experiences, and work towards a place of self-acceptance and personal empowerment.
I wholeheartedly believe in the benefits of counseling. I am committed to providing clients a safe and non-judgmental space so that they may find solace and achieve personal growth through the counseling process. Bethany Jordan

Marriage and Family Therapy Student Intern

About Bethany

Virginia Satir once said, “I want you to get excited about who you are, what you are, what you have, and what can still be for you. I want to inspire you to see that you can go far beyond where you are right now.” I wholeheartedly believe that this approach to therapy can enrich a client and help them grow in areas they never knew existed. Personal growth and hope are key when attempting to become your best self.
I currently have a Bachelor’s in Psychology and I am in my second year of Graduate School at The University of Louisiana at Monroe, for Marriage and Family Therapy. I am actively learning new ways to provide professional assistance and guidance for my clients in a way that aids them in finding solutions and positive coping skills. I focus on people dealing with anything trauma related, depression, anxiety, marital problems, or family conflicts. For PTSD and trauma related issues, I typically use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am open to all clients such as Individual, Families, Couples, and Children. Each session will be completely tailored to the client to ensure that they are receiving the best possible treatment. I am here to see you grow through your therapeutic experience and grow within yourself.
Therapy is continuously assisting people in finding hope and happiness. Let me help you find yours.
