Amber White
Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC Board Approved Supervisor, Practice Owner
About Amber
You may have been struggling with overcoming past trauma or abuse, dealing with overwhelming stressors in life, or feeling unheard or misunderstood in your relationship. NOW is the time to turn that around. My goal is to provide exceptional therapeutic services, by helping to identify personal and relational strengths and to build/strengthen you as an individual, as well as the relationships you are in.
To assist with trauma/PTSD issues, I use EMDR therapy to reprocess traumatic memories and eliminate intrusive triggers you are facing today. If marital/relationship issues are the concern, I use Gottman Couples Therapy to heal betrayals of trust, improve bond, improve conflict management skills, and build positive communication and positive shared rituals.
As the owner and supervisor of Firm Foundations, I work closely with all of our therapists to ensure that you have the best experience possible during your healing process.
I also provide supervision services for PLPC’s.
Start today with taking steps toward a more positive, satisfied life. Call now to set up a phone consultation or therapy session.

About Bethany
Oftentimes people say the first step of becoming a healthier you is seeking help, and you are doing exactly that right now. I know that it isn’t easy, but I want to help you get to a place where you feel confident in who you are as a person. I want to inspire you to learn from the past, thrive in the present, and be excited about the future. I believe that taking a non-judgmental and empathetic viewpoint can empower a client to feel heard in whatever stage of life they are. Whether you are feeling stuck, completely unmotivated, or are ready to face all of your struggles head on; I want to be there right beside you through it all.
I am a PLMFT & PLPC who has obtained a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. I am actively learning new ways to provide professional assistance and guidance for my clients in a way that aids them in finding positive solutions and new opportunities. I treat a wide variety of presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, marital issues, family conflict, domestic abuse, grief, and even a number of personality disorders like Dissociation. I specialize in Trauma and use an evidence-based type therapy called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to assist people dealing with all types of trauma or PTSD. Each session will be completely tailored to the client to ensure that they are receiving the best possible treatment. This includes individuals, couples, and families.
You are the expert on your life. I merely want to help you find a balance and to regain peace within yourself. I am here to see you grow through your therapeutic experience and grow within yourself. I want you to feel confident. I want you to feel heard. I want you to be great.
About Hannah
“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.” – Maya Angelou
Life can throw all types of challenges at us that can be difficult to see through. When we feel overwhelmed, having a space of our own to talk openly with someone that listens without judgement can help us gain insight into the challenges we are facing and see things in a different way.
My therapeutic approach combines solution focused brief therapy and naraitive therapy to create an authentic, collaborative relationship with my clients. Every person faces different challenges in life and using a variety of techniques I focus on developing a path that fits each individual person for the direction they wish to grow.
I currently hold a Bachelors in Psychology and am in my second year of Graduate school in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Louisiana Monroe. I work with individuals, couples and families with a wide range of struggles including anxiety, depression, communication issues, marital problems, grief, loss and many others. I believe the client is the expert in their own life and I am simply a tool to help facilitate a healing process. I have a drive to help people see through the darkness life can create by fostering a safe environment built on trust, empathy and understanding.
Growth and change can be scary and painful, but we do not have to walk the path alone. We often hear the saying “look on the bright side,” but when you can’t see the light I will be here to sit with you in the dark until we find it together.
About Natalie
Seeking help can be a tough decision to make. I want to create a safe space for you to talk openly without judgement. I want you to feel heard and cared for. This may look different for different people and I am willing to adapt for your comfort level.
I have a heart for helping people and want to help you work towards the change, relief, and hope you are seeking. I believe that you are the expert of your life. This time is about you. I will be there to help you work through that process including all of the ups and downs. Life is tough sometimes, but you don’t have to go through those times alone. We will walk through this time together.
I currently have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and am now in the Marriage and Family Therapy Master’s Program at ULM. I work with individuals, couples, and families in a wide range of struggles like anxiety, depression, grief, and so much more.
About Scarlett
No matter what brought you to this point, I want to take a moment to tell you that you are brave, and you are enough. You have made it this far, and that is no small feat. With that being said, I want to be here to help you take that next step, whatever that looks like for you. Whatever struggles you’re facing, you should not have to face them alone! Life is hard enough without us trying to bear that burden all on our own. Whether you’re feeling depressed, anxious, or you’re just in a tough season right now, I offer a range of therapeutic approaches to fit your needs. Everyone is different so your journey may not look like someone else’s, and that’s okay. I am here for you.
I have a B.A in Psychology and I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy. After I graduate, I plan to work towards dual licensure as an LPC and an LMFT. I don’t believe therapy is a cure-all that will magically fix everything. I believe therapy is an instrument that can be very helpful when given the chance. My hope and my goal is to support my clients while giving them a safe space to heal, grow, and strive to be their best selves. I want you to feel good about yourself and your life. You deserve it.
